In Aug 2023,  Hilden Beer and Music Festival will celebrate its 37th anniversary in style with three days of live music, craft beers and gourmet food village in the grounds of historic Hilden House.

The event, now one of Northern Ireland’s longest running festivals, attracted over three thousand visitors last year keen to sample the flavour of the 40 beers and ciders on offer. In addition to the local beer and cider we have local gins and vodkas and whiskeys too.

And there are those that come for the music! We have such a fabulous range of artists both on the main stage and in the semi-acoustic stage in the tipi tents. Some very familiar bands who you just love to see, some up and coming new talent and our headliners!

We offer corporate hospitality spaces in the Stables, there are a few opportunities remaining for the weekend, so anyone that’s interested, please do get in touch.

Sunday is our family day, starting at 12 noon, we have face painters and balloon artists, tattoo artists, the giant bubble man, sand art, the Gathering Drum is back for more kiddy drumming and lots of space in the front garden to join up with friends.

“We created something that catered for everyone’s taste and it was a great success. The atmosphere across all three days is tremendous.

“When we started the festival back in 1984 I didn’t think it would become as big and as popular as it has, but I’m proud that we’ve maintained the same friendly welcome and character through the years.”

This was a quotation from Seamus Scullion, founder of the festival, from back in 2014 at the 30th anniversary. We’re not quite 9 festivals on thanks to covid but we like to think the sentiment has stayed true.
