Drinks’ Reception

Drinks’ receptions at Hilden Brewery usually take place in the Courtyard of Hilden House.  The courtyard  was built 200 years ago by William Barbour, with its mature trees lining the drive way this Georgian Linen House with its surrounding 4-acres, is a beautiful place to start your wedding festivities following your ceremony.

We offer Beer, Champagne, Prosecco, Wine and Cocktail receptions.  You an even opt to pour your own beers! Accompanying your drinks’ reception is your choice of canapés.  We have a lovely range to suit all palates and dietary requirements.

  • Mac and Hegarty cheese bites (GF option avail)
  • Crispy pork belly with apple and sage gel (GF)
  • Homemade potato bread topped with apple, bacon & cheddar cheese (GF)
  • Hilden Stout wheaten bread topped with dill cream cheese and cured salmon
  • (GF option available)
  • Tomato & basil bruschetta (V, VG, GF)
  • Chicken liver parfait crostini with onion jam
  • Parmesan sausage roll with shallot and mustard mayo
  • Pea & smoked cheese arancini (V, VG, GF)
  • Spiced cauliflower wings (V, VG, GF)
  • Roast beetroot & humous on seeded bread (V, VG)

If there is something you would really like and you don’t see it, come and have a chat. Our Head Chef Mick will be delighted to put his culinary expertise to the test. Canapés are his speciality!

For a little addition to your drinks’s reception, have you considered a Photo Booth? They’re a great fun addition.

How about some live music? It’s lovely to hear the sound of the music mixed in the with all the lively chat and smiling faces as your family and friends meet and catch up.  If you would prefer to play your favourite music, you can play a Spotify list over our courtyard speakers.

As it is Northern Ireland, the sun is not always guaranteed. On wet days (not your wedding day though), drinks’ receptions will be held in the Stables.
